Darshana Purohit, MD is board certified in Endocrinology and practices at Capital Diabetes and Endocrine Associates. Dr. Purohit attended K. J. Somaiya Medical Institute in Mumbai India . She completed her residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins/Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and her three year fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas Texas. Dr. Purohit is also an active member of Endocrine Society, American Thyroid Association, and The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. She treats all endocrine disorders which includes diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal disorders, osteoperosis and PCOS. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and photography.
